After two days of looking at bankers and banking institutions, I needed a break from such heavy subjects. Back to the movies!
Kristen Stewart, of Twilight fame, has sun in Aries and moon in Libra. She is also of the generation born with Uranus and Neptune conjunct in Capricorn. Additionally she has Saturn in Capricorn, adding to this energy cluster.
I’m much older than Stewart and have cast horoscopes for her tribe since they’ve been born. I wondered then and still wonder now how this Uranus/Neptune conjunction affects the perceptions of this generation. This generation may still be too young to understand the responsibilities that await them. Capricorn represents structures and duties, not visits to the beach.
For Stewart, this Capricorn energy squares both sun and moon creating a T-square. That’s quite a bit of tension. Let’s start with the sun and moon.
The sun in Aries says, “Me.” The moon in Libra says, “You.” This combination produces a desire for partnership and then a struggle with that partner for independence. It’s a little selfish in the way of cats. When she’s in the mood, she wants to snuggle and close off the rest of the world. When snuggle-fulfilled, she’s ready to pioneer off without you, seeking new stimulation.
The Capricorn energy comes into this opposition with its favorite word (per astrologer Jeanne Avery) – SHOULD. Stewart may have worked out the ups and downs of her emotional nature just to have Saturn say, “This is the kind of relationship you SHOULD have.”
SHOULD is a word often used by authority, including parents. That Saturn squares the sun and moon suggests a powerful father who reins in the impulsiveness and romantic idealism of Aries/Libra.
Since I don’t have time of birth, I don’t know where all the Capricorn energy lies (i.e., in which house). Stewart may end up marrying someone much older and established, a Capricorn type.
The current transiting T-square of Pluto (in Capricorn), Uranus (in Aries) and Saturn (in Libra) falls into Stewart’s chart like a finely formed design template.
Uranus will be transiting the sun saying, “It’s about YOU.” Saturn transiting the moon says, “Don’t get stuck in a relationship” and Pluto transiting Uranus says, “Break the rules.”
Stewart will probably break some rules but will start to feel the heat from those around her, including her fans. When Pluto transits Saturn, some years from now, it will be time to break from those around her who keep saying SHOULD.
In other words, it’s time to leave the nest, the nest of protective close companions and parents. I don’t know the mechanics of being famous, but Stewart might also have an agent or other business manager who is both restricting and controlling her at this time.
The Saturn return, which occurs around age 28, will coincide, for Stewart, with Pluto in Capricorn. The Saturn return is seen as a time of settling down, working through one cycle of 3D karma and letting go of some of the self-restraints we brought into this life.
Stewart’s Saturn return will coincide with a Pluto transit. That’s powerful energy and it will be directed into the world in the form of authority and/or challenging authority.
Maybe Stewart has other creative ventures she’d like to branch into; with moon in Libra, there is a lot of artistic ability. Stewart’s Mars in Aquarius suggests unusual, unique pursuits. Combined Stewart may have a new art form up her sleeve.
Stewart has Pluto in Scorpio opposite Mercury in Taurus. Mercury in Taurus is a slow, methodical communicator. Pluto opposing that is urging her to be more profound and shocking in communication.
Stewart’s generation appears to have come into the world to mend the pieces of collapsed structures of the current Pluto in Capricorn transit. I’m glad they are here to do it. I’m of the Uranus/Pluto conjunction in Virgo and my purpose here is to spread anti-bacterial ointment across the world, not fix the economy and collapsing social order.
The challenges that await Stewart and her generation are tough. I’m glad they came in to help.
