Dick Cheney Needs Some Lovin’

Dick Cheney, former Vice President, needs some lovin’. Neptune will be transiting his Pisces moon, opposing natal Neptune, and Pluto is conjunct his Capricorn Venus. His emotional life will be undergoing some intense changes.

Venus in Capricorn is extremely selective about friends. A little snobbish, if you will. Venus in Capricorn is the fraternity brother or sorority sister. This is about friendships through social conventions and structures rather than friendships borne of bumping into someone at the gas station and lending them a dollar.

Possibly that clique of friends isn’t living up to the agreement to treat Cheney with Capricorn respect. Maybe Cheney’s memoirs which he said according to an Associated Press story, “would cause heads to explode” is a way to get some respect.

With Moon in Pisces and Venus in Capricorn I expect these memoirs contain more than a bit of self-pity for perceived sacrifices Cheney has made. Cheney’s sun in Aquarius is detached and aloof. But Pisces moon is not.

Cheney was known to keep secrets well and demand others do the same. I consulted eHow.com to learn about the psychology of secrets.

According to eHow.com, benign secrets contribute to a healthy sense of self and malignant secrets can cause “deep psychological anguish.” I learned that malignant secrets can “diminish the quality of people’s relationships, alienating them from others and imposing loneliness.”

Cheney may be feeling lonely, not just from keeping secrets, but from having a very emotional moon that he does not express openly.

Jupiter is transiting Taurus now passing Cheney’s natal Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in Taurus. Money may have also played a need in publishing these memoirs at this time.

Neptune left the sign of Aquarius this year. If I were a fortune-telling-type of astrologer, I would have guessed these memoirs would have been published in 2008 when Neptune was transiting Cheney’s Mercury in Aquarius.

Cheney has a bunch of planets in the last four signs of the zodiac – Sagittarius (Mars), Capricorn (Venus), Aquarius (sun, Mercury) and Pisces (moon). These signs are about public life, mass conscious and the populace. I hope Cheney explains in his memoirs what drove him to public life and to keep secrets in the public’s behalf.

Natal Neptune opposes natal moon in Pisces suggesting an imaginative, dreamy, psychic but melancholy personality. Cheney might be feeling a little depressed right now.

The current grand cross in cardinal signs (Pluto in Capricorn, Uranus in Aries, Saturn in Libra and Mars in Cancer) isn’t too hard on Cheney’s chart. I don’t think he’s going through the stressful relationship problems others are.

I suspect Cheney wants “heads to explode” for several reasons: 1) he wants respect; 2) he wants us to know what he sacrificed for us and 3) he just needs some attention.

If Cheney wants heads to explode, then maybe his own head is exploding from his cherished secrets and deep feelings that no one understands simply because he won’t tell anyone about these feelings. Cheney is smart enough to find a creative way to unleash these intense feelings.

That Pluto transit over natal Venus makes me believe that Cheney feels let down by his friends. Friendships based on structure often fall apart when the structure goes away. Maybe Cheney needs to let his Aquarius sun and Pisces moon do the friend picking. His friends will be more loyal and truly loving that way.

Mexico is a Wealthy Virgo

On September 16, 1810 at daylight, Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla rang the church bells in the city of Dolores, Mexico to “summon the people from the countryside” [Fire & Blood by T. R. Ferenbach] in revolt against the Spanish government.

September 16 is now Mexico’s Independence Day.

That makes Mexico a Virgo. At sunrise, the sun is in the 1st house giving Mexico a Virgo rising as well.

It seems odd that the family-oriented, fun-loving Mexicans are ruled by the pristine earth sign Virgo. What’s more, Mexico’s moon is in earth sign Taurus.

On second thought, maybe it makes sense.

To Americans, Mexico is a poor neighbor that forces throngs of people to risk their lives crossing our border to find work.

Work. Now that’s in the realm of Virgo. I smell something here.

While the numbers vary, it’s estimated that undocumented Mexicans in the US send $25 billion back home. That’s quite a chunk of change added to the Mexican economy.

Mexico’s natural resources, according to Answers.com include:

  • Oil
  • Gas
  • Silver
  • Bismuth
  • Celestite
  • Fluorspar
  • Fishing
  • Forestry

Mexico also happens to have a robust tourist industry that includes mountains, beaches and extensive Aztec, Mayan and Toltec ruins.

Mexico has it all.

So how did this country become so poor?

If you get past the television images and travel past the border, there is a Mexico that is very different than the image of the poor campesino you see on TV. There is great wealth in Mexico.

My political view is that Mexico’s economic problems are class problems. Mexico is a country with abundant resources. It’s class that has separated people from the wealth.

Both the bulimic and anorexic think obsessively about food.  I think Mexico may be doing the same about money. A great focus on earthly, material goods has made an anorexic of a country filled with plenty.

Those Mexicans that go abroad often work in service industries (ala Virgo) and work very, very hard. These people didn’t change by crossing the border; they would work hard in their own country, I assume, if the opportunities were available.

Mexico’s Virgo sun is opposed by Pluto in Pisces. Neptune is transiting Pisces right now and in the next few years Mexico may be having more struggles with work and health issues.

Pluto is currently transiting Capricorn which creates a grand earth trine for Mexico. If I came from outer space (as an astrologer) and didn’t know anything about Mexico, I would say, “Great times of material comfort.”

Maybe Pluto will transform Mexico’s economic system as it is doing to economies around the world. Maybe Mexico will look in the mirror and realize that abundance is within.

Felipe Calderon Should Avoid Fog

Latin American countries like fiery rulers and Felipe Calderon, President of Mexico, fits the bill.

Sun in Leo and moon in Aries is a volcanic mix. Fire is expressive, enthusiastic, extroverted and courageous. On the negative side fire is self-centered in that it demands all the attention. Usually fire has more energy than the other elements and naturally gets center stage. But if they don’t . . . there’s a fiery hell to pay.

Calderon’s Venus in Libra is opposite a most-likely moon in Aries (some chance of it being in late Pisces). Transiting Uranus in Aries (just left Pisces) is bouncing all over that opposition of love and feeling. There are some sudden relationship changes here.

Calderon is suffering the same relationship issues as the rest of us as the cardinal grand cross (Pluto in Capricorn, Uranus in Aries, Saturn in Libra and Mars in Cancer) applies friction to any natural friction in our charts. His friction is fiery passion versus harmonious pleasure.

Which does he like more? He probably goes back and forth from being a gentle companion to a raging jealous lover.

Many of the politicians I’ve been looking at lately have transits to the moon. Maybe for a politician the moon is more than the women in his/her life. Maybe the moon is the populace and for politicians maintaining a relationship with the populace feels the same as maintaining a relationship with an emotional woman.

Or maybe it’s common for politicians to have a lover tucked away.

Or maybe both.

Calderon’s natal Uranus, Pluto and Mercury are in Virgo and Neptune will be opposing all those planets in the near future. Natal Jupiter in Pisces will be filtering that psychic, spiritual energy.

I worry about this aspect for Calderon. Leo expresses in possibilities and sometimes, how shall we say it, “exaggerates” the truth. Calderon’s natal Mercury in Virgo is a detailed speaker and probably reins in some of that Leo storytelling.

However, I worry that any lies Calderon is telling (we all lie, I’m not judging) will come out in a very unusual way. Neptune suggests leaks of information that have imaginative elements added that create a weird story.

Neptune rules images and FOG, is diffuse and undifferentiated and wants to merge.

The energy reminds me of the movie “The Informant” (spoiler alert) where the supposed-hero keeps changing his story and then you learn that maybe he’s not what he seems. The information keeps changing, the story doesn’t make sense and absolute truths get sputtered at the wrong time. Even at the very end he’s changing the story. The story never ends . . .

The Neptune transit involves Piscean and Virgo energy. Those energies can relate to health, physical and spiritual. Possibly Calderon will have a health issue or he may be aware of one that exists in his country, ala the swine flu.

Calderon, like the rest of us, is living in interesting times. We each have our challenges right now. Calderon’s are going to be rough. He probably knew that when he became President of Mexico.

Maybe that’s why we elect fire signs in the Americas. What other sign would take on this kind of challenge and believe he/she could be successful?

Leo.

Pisces Presidents

As the Republican Party is serving up two Pisces sun presidential candidates (Romney and Perry), I wanted to take a look at past Piscean presidents. Of our 43 presidents, there have been four with sun in Pisces:

  • George Washington (1789-1797)
  • James Madison (1809-1817)
  • Andrew Jackson (1829-1837)
  • Grover Cleveland (1885-1889, 1893-1897)

The 18th and 19th centuries were better environments for Piscean US presidents. The 20th century produced none. Maybe the 21st century will see a return of this mutable water sign in the White House.

Pisces

Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac and is a mutable water sign. Mutable means changeable and adaptable. Water means sensitive and emotional. Pisces is the “psychic” of the zodiac, picking up emotional and mental impressions as a sponge soaks water.

Because Pisces is so sensitive and impressionable, it can be easily manipulated. And because Pisces sees through people, it can also manipulate.

Pisces has also been called the “garbage can” of the zodiac in that it contains a little piece of each sign. It’s a collector of psychic leftovers from the other eleven signs.

Pisces is sympathetic and empathetic and makes a good counselor or religious practitioner. Pisces can be sympathetic and understanding to the point of suffering abuse. Think of the spouse who lives with an abusive partner and believes, each time, it is the last abuse because it sees the goodness in the person.

“Believe” is the keyword of Pisces.

Imaging the past in the future

In looking at the charts of these Pisces presidents and the configurations they were born and governed in, one stands out as governing in a time similar to our own – Andrew Jackson.

Andrew Jackson hardly seems the sensitive Pisces as he was known as “Old Hickory” a dueling individualist. Or maybe he was so sensitive that he had to murder those that disagreed with (dissed) him. Jackson lived in a pre-Tweet universe, so I don’t have the scoop on his motivations.

Jackson had sun in Pisces and moon in Virgo, as does Republican candidate Rick Perry. The outer planets in Jackson’s natal horoscope and presidential term are much like the transits today:

Outer planet

Jackson natal

Jackson term

Today

Uranus Aries Aquarius Aries
Neptune Virgo Capricorn Pisces/Aquarius
Pluto Capricorn Aries Capricorn

During Jackson’s presidency and today there are outer planets in Aries and Capricorn. We are dealing again today with the issues of society structure and government oversight versus self-determination. The Aquarius/Pisces energy is about the masses, Aquarius in a political, idealistic sense and Pisces in a spiritual sense.

Jackson Presidency

Here are a few Jackson presidency highlights compliments of Wikipedia:

  • Opposition to the National Bank
  • Indian Removal Policy
  • Nullification Crisis (South Carolina wanted to nullify a federal law on tariffs)

Congress renewed the charter for the National Bank and Jackson vetoed it. Jackson’s veto is an interesting read and quite prescient. Here are a couple interesting lines of the veto:

  • “It appears that more than a fourth part of the stock is held by foreigners and the residue is held by a few hundred of our own citizens, chiefly of the richest class.”
  •  “It is easy to conceive that great evils to our country and its institutions millet flow from such a concentration of power in the hands of a few men irresponsible to the people.”

To assess Jackson’s presidency is in the realm of political science, not astrology. When I read about the issues of Jackson’s presidency I have a lot of political thoughts, but my astrological thought is that underneath the particular issues of Jackson’s day are issues that are coming to the fore again today.

  • How much federal control?
  • How much debt and foreign control?
  • Who are our citizens?

You could say we’ve been struggling with this for 235 years in each presidency in some way, especially federal versus state control.

Symbolism

Astrology for me is about symbolism. The symbolism of Jackson’s time seems to have a relation to the symbolism of our time.

It’ll be interesting to see how we manage our big banks, foreign investment and Indians/immigrants this time around.

Why so many breakups in 2011?

I noticed that someone searched “why so many breakups in 2011?” That’s a very interesting question. I was just having a conversation yesterday with someone about all the breakups occurring with ourselves and with others.

Grand Cross in Cardinal Signs

Currently there is a grand cross in the sky in the cardinal signs:

  • Uranus in Aries
  • Mars in Cancer
  • Saturn in Libra
  • Pluto in Capricorn

In the past year, Jupiter went through Aries stoking the friction of this cross.

Let’s talk about the cardinal signs and relationship:

Aries / Libra – this is the SELF / OTHER polarity

Cancer / Capricorn – this is the INNER SELF (family) / OUTER SELF (career) polarity

The cardinal cross is about me-you-family-workplace. In our image of the American 1950’s household,  Mother was about you/family and Father was about me/workplace.

As women changed, the roles became more complicated. Those roles are still changing and a collapsing economy (and societal structures) forces those roles to change even more.

Planets in the Cardinal Grand Cross

Now for the planets –

Pluto is transformation that is usually preceded by destruction, unless you decide to simply let go of the old worn-out patterns.

Uranus is enlightenment and inspiration which is usually preceded by sudden, unexpected and shocking events, unless you simply wake up to what’s around you.

Saturn is the law of contraction and is the structure of our world. Saturn can feel good or bad depending on how you naturally feel about laws and rules.

Mars is the active principle. Mars gets you out of bed in the morning to greet the new day. How do you wake each morning?

Why so many breakups?

Saturn in Libra is sending contracting energy through relationships. While there are a lot of breakups, some are living and dealing with this contraction. That means the relationship is not fun right now. Other relationships contract into a void because the energy of the relationship can’t handle the contraction. In a sense, there is nothing left. It’s contracted out of existence.

Pluto in Capricorn is the transformation of our societal structures. We are experiencing a recession or depression of the economy. That stress is adding to any tensions already extant in your relationships. I believe at the end of the Pluto in Capricorn transit, our economic, family and relationship structures will be different, more egalitarian.

Uranus in Aries is the enlightenment of self. This transit says impulsively, “I’m going to do it myself. I don’t need you involved.” This is a great feeling of power but it does not support partnerships, family life or the “teamwork” of a workplace.

Mars in Cancer is energy directed toward family. Spending time with family can be very comforting. No matter how much you fight with your family, they know you. You can put your feet up on the coffee table (unless your family has a lot of Virgo or Capricorn energy). Family life is comforting, but does not always help you grow.

Combined energies

The combined energies of this grand cross mean that we are having great stress between the ME – YOU and FAMILY – WORK axes. Pluto is ripping apart our work world and our self, family and partnerships are going to change as a result.

The astrologer Tom Lescher (New Paradigm Astrology) has a weekly YouTube Pele Report which I find the most insightful and compassionate view of what is now occurring in relationships.

Columbus local Jennifer Sieck of Intuitive Voice Inner Guidance says it this way:

“Right now there is an opportnunity in the culture at large to deepen & do inner work torward ascension but there is just as strong a need too for some to go their own way–strike out & try something new. It takes maturity to go deeper & it isn’t always fun/sexy but it might be what is required for some. And for others that need to be new again & define things solely for yourself may win out. Neither is right or wrong, in either case it is important to do what Jungians call “holding the tension of the opposites” until the individual’s need rises to the top by sitting with it over time. The energy from Aries (the 7 year thing) that we are in is encouraging this tendency to react without pause in many ways & in many arenas.”

Perfectionism for Dummies

As the sun enters Virgo, it’s the perfect time to talk about perfection.  The two signs I see most caught up in perfection are:

  • Virgo
  • Aquarius

Dictionary.com defines perfection as “the highest degree of proficiency, skill, or excellence, as in some art.”

Michael Jackson the Virgo was a perfectionist. If the movie Amadeus is to be believed, Mozart the Aquarius was also a perfectionist.

What’s different about the perfection of these two?

Virgo, the analytical, critical and nervous earth sign seeks perfection as a reaction to criticism. Perfection is a way to avoid future criticism. The criticism Virgo sends out is often a reaction to some criticism he/she received in the past.

Jackson might have been a perfectionist without his father applying vice-like pressure. The sensitive and talented Jackson became the King of Pop but died trying to get some rest from an active mind that obviously kept him up at night.

Aquarius, the analytical, inspired and forward-thinking air sign seeks perfection to match a mental or philosophical image. Perfection is the most harmonious, logical or equitable method to achieve an ideal.

Mozart supposedly heard the music in his head and merely transcribed. That might be a little movie hyperbole as Mozart was trained well by his father. However, if the movie is accurate, once Mozart put his mind’s music on paper, it was not to be altered.

Astrology Quiz!

To make sure you understand the difference between Virgo perfection and Aquarius perfection, you must take the following quiz. Only those scoring 100 percent receive the framed Certificate of Perfection Differentiation.

In the following two questions, determine if the person described is Virgo or Aquarius.

  1. You submit to your boss a 512-page report and he/she returns it asking you to change the font from 12 pt to 10 pt because the department head likes 10 pt font. Your boss is a                              .
  2. You are driving from home to the store with your partner. As you make a left out of the drive, your partner yells at you and says that if you go right, you will have one less stop light and will be at the store several minutes faster. Your partner is a                                 .

If you guessed 1) Virgo and 2) Aquarius you scored 100 percent and get an A+ in Perfection.

Rick Perry for Surgeon General

My first glance at the chart of Rick Perry, Republican Presidential Candidate, produced the thought, “Why isn’t he working in a hospital?”

Sun in Pisces and Saturn conjunct moon in Virgo is an individual concerned with health, mental and physical. That Saturn on the moon opposite the sun makes me wonder if his mother or other female family member wasn’t chronically ill and demanding of Perry’s attention for care.

I went to Wikipedia and learned that Perry studied animal science then went to work in cotton farming with his father. I bet Perry wanted to be a veterinarian.

I have advice for Perry – don’t run for president of the United States.

If you see Perry sit him down with a cup of chamomile (other beverages probably upset his stomach) and explain the difference between:

  1. Helping people
  2. Being president of the United States

Perry, with his Piscean naiveté probably believes these two activities to be the same.

If Perry wants to help people heal or grow, as he might have done with a family member, he should choose a different vocation. I have some ideas:

  1. Surgeon General (if he insists on being in government)
  2. A new federal position I call Veterinarian General to work on the protection and care of the nation’s animals
  3. Veterinarian
  4. Doctor or nurse
  5. Head of a non-profit health organization
  6. Business owner of health/spirituality product
  7. Massage therapist
  8. Marriage or family counselor
  9. Dietician

Neptune will soon be transiting Perry’s natal sun. He may very well change careers at that time in to something more spiritual or religious. He may also deal with illness either of his own person or the illness of someone close.

Saturn is now transiting Perry’s natal Mars and Neptune. I don’t know in what house these planets reside as I don’t have Perry’s time of birth. I suspect the physically attractive Perry will be perceived as doing something “ugly” or will have something “ugly” done to him that will injure his sense of fairness.

I don’t believe Perry can handle the ugliness of politics. While he may sacrifice for others, he doesn’t really want to get his hands dirty and roll in the mud. Sacrifice is one thing; an ugly reputation is another.

Some sudden changes to Perry’s home life will occur this month and next with Mars in Cancer hopping on his natal Uranus in Cancer. Perry probably experiences home life “shifts” every seven years or so, the Uranus “seven-year itch” cycle.

I don’t expect to see Perry on the ballot in November 2012. I hope he exits gracefully rather than with mud all over his white shirts. If he really wants to help people, as his chart suggests, he doesn’t really have to climb to the top of Everest. There are more people to help at sea level.

Republican Presidential Candidates by the Numbers

Avid readers, you’ve heard me say over and over again that Americans love fixed signs in the White House.

There are 12 signs in the zodiac comprised of four elements and three modes.

Fixed signs are stubborn, determined, forceful and willful. The fixed signs are Taurus (earth), Leo (fire), Scorpio (water) and Aquarius (air).

When a fixed sign walks into the room, you notice a “presence” about this person. The presence can be the attraction you feel when you see someone famous to the intimidation you feel from a military authority.

Mutable signs are changeable and adaptable. They are so flexible that they can become irresponsible. The mutable signs are Gemini (air), Virgo (earth), Sagittarius (fire) and Pisces (water).

When a mutable sign walks into the room, you probably don’t notice them. They notice you and may appear by your side. If they aren’t interested in you, you probably won’t know they were there.

Cardinal signs are bossy, motivated initiators. They get things started (but not necessarily finished). The cardinal signs are Aries (fire), Cancer (water), Libra (air) and Capricorn (earth).

When a cardinal sign walks into the room, you notice because they want to change something. “Where are the drinks?” “Look at that wallpaper!” “Why did you wear that shirt?”

The current Republican Lineup

Here are the current Republican presidential candidates by the numbers. Each horoscope has 10 “planets” which include the moon and Pluto. The calculations assume Mitt Romney has a Scorpio moon.

By the numbers, Mitt Romney and Ron Paul have the most fixed signs, being equal at five.

Ron Paul has both sun and moon in fixed signs, Leo and Taurus respectively. Romney has a lot of fixed signs in his chart, but his sun is in the mutable water Pisces while his moon is in the fixed water Scorpio.

By the numbers, Ron Paul has the mode that America loves.

General Terrelle Pryor

Terrelle Pryor, former OSU quarterback, is not emotional.

Sun in Gemini and moon in Capricorn describe a detached and dispassionate individual. He’s so detached that you should just find someone else to talk to if you want sympathy.

Gemini is the knowledge seeker of the zodiac which seeks stimulation from the environment in order to learn. Keeping a Gemini interested is tricky as they absorb quickly then move on to the next interesting person, place or idea. Gemini is restless.

Capricorn is a difficult position for the moon. I always describe these individuals as the ones that don’t cry at the funeral. Because they are able to control their emotions, they are often the family member planning the funeral. They take care of business, clean up the mess and make the difficult calls.

Moon in Capricorn generally has difficulty with the intimate aspects of a relationship because of this controlled and controlling nature.

Those that can control their emotions under any kind of duress often do well in professions of high stress. Gemini is a quick and agile thinker. Combined, I think these are high-stress, quick-decision careers that would suit Pryor well:

  • Military – soldier to general
  • Medical emergency
  • Government
  • Pilot
  • Firefighter
  • Stockbroker
  • Vegas dealer

Football players, obviously, need these skills as Pryor has been very successful in this sport.

Pluto is transiting Capricorn so much of Pryor’s life will be topsy-turvy for several years to come. The sign of Capricorn represents authority and structure.

Pryor has already been in the news with his coach Tressel for allegedly selling memorabilia illegally. I suspect that more challenges to and from the law will be occurring. Pryor is one tough cookie so those that challenge him will be challenged in return.

Pryor has a military/authoritative personality so maybe he will move from being a player on the field to the person calling the shots and the strategy. His chart suggests he’s excellent at strategy because he sees what needs to be done and will do it regardless of the effects on others.

I bet one day he will own a football team.

The fates usually deliver to a person of Pryor’s personality an emotional and clinging mate. Natal Pluto in Scorpio and Venus in Cancer show that love interests provide the family and emotional setting. Pryor is “old fashioned” with regard to relationships.

He’d be suited to a partner who is interested in traditional female roles of support for the family life in the home.

Mars is transiting Cancer and at the end of this month will be on Pryor’s natal Venus opposite all those lovely planets in Capricorn. It might be a time where Pryor pops the question.

Pryor is essentially an EXECUTIVE. Executive is a term used in corporate life but isn’t really about the organizations in tall buildings. It’s about command and control of self. Pryor has both.

R – E – S – P – E – C – T

Aretha Franklin sang about respect. Gloria Steinem lobbied for respect. Both were born on the day March 25 with the sun in 4 degrees of Aries.

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and symbolized by the ram. Aries is a cardinal fire sign that says, “me first.” Aries is about the self while its opposite sign, Libra, is about the other.

Traditionally Aries is viewed as headstrong and impulsive. Being a fire sign, Aries is intuitive and sees the possibilities of situation. Aries is known for starting things, not necessarily ending them. This is the sign with 1,000 unfinished projects in the house.

Uranus is now in Aries, bouncing back and forth between 1 degree and 4 degrees. Both Franklin and Steinem are probably feeling a nervous energy from inside. Both are ready for more respect and to fight for it if necessary.

Franklin has moon in Cancer and Steinem Cancer or Leo. With her mane of hair, I’m guessing Steinem has moon in Leo. Astrotheme places her moon in Leo with a 10 pm birthtime.

Mars is moving into Cancer and will conjunct Franklin’s moon and Steinem’s Pluto. Aggressive Mars energy will be directed toward family. Family might be a cause of irritating frustration. There may even be some yelling.

Cancer is square to Aries so family life and/or family issues will impede the Aries drive for assertion of the self. Both women could be facing some sort of emotional imprisonment and will bust out with Aries force. Uranus on Aries will demand that freedom for self come first.

Franklin’s family issues probably involve money, with Jupiter on her Saturn/Uranus conjunction in Taurus. Steinem’s family issues probably relate to love and relationship with Neptune bouncing all over her lonely Venus conjunct Saturn in Aquarius.

Saturn has been transiting Libra, the sign opposite Aries. The worst of the relationship problems are over for both women. Steinem’s issues were probably more volatile as she also has Mars conjunct that natal Aries sun. The fights are coming to an end.

As Neptune moves into Pisces, it will conjunct Mercury in Pisces for both women. I expect more singing and writing out of these two, with a more emotional flavor. The anger of Aries will be replaced by a more vulnerable emotional expression, especially for Franklin who has a natal Neptune opposition from transiting Neptune on the horizon.

I thank these two women for working toward respect for themselves and, by extension, me. Aries is the energy that fights back. With Uranus hopping all over that energy, I expect to hear from both of them soon.
